Exploding Tree Records is currently based in West Cork, Ireland where its co-founders Justin Grounds & Allison Roberts live by the sea.

Exploding Tree the Community
Each year Exploding Tree puts aside some of its profits & time to invest in locally run projects that it believes in. In the past we have helped found and develop a business plan & administrative infrastructure for a not-for-profit artist community in Melbourne, Australia and have donated studio time for auction as well as funds to a variety of development projects.

Last year we were asked to build a website for Equitable Action, founded by a local Congolese refugee, aiming to educate people on the horrors taking place in Africa and worldwide as a result of careless consumerism & corrupt government. In addition we taught the group how to update & manage the website so that they don't need to rely on a third party.

On an ongoing basis, Exploding Tree manages the accounts for a local charity shop that, in turn, donates 100% of it's profits to worthwhile projects that benefit children in need worldwide. We also help low-income artists produce high-quality studio recordings and facilitate free workshops in all of our areas of expertise.

We believe that all businesses, great or small should be accountable to their local & global community.

	Allison Roberts is a chocolatier, multi-media designer & stained glass artist who likes to be immersed in different cultures, experimenting with delicious food, working outside & solving tricky problems.
